Entry Announcement for Limited Run Speedrunning Contest:

Contest: Limited Run is conducting a contest through its website: https://zaituporteroselectricos.com//blogs/news/arzette-the-jewel-of-faramore-community-speedrun-contest-starts-today (the “Contest”), where entrants will have the opportunity to compete to win a cash prize and a copy of the Collector’s Edition of Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore (the “Game”). 

Contest Entry Period:  The Contest will begin on or after 1PM Eastern Time on June 19th Eastern Time and will end at 11:59 PM on July 9th (the “Entry Period”). 

How to Enter:  You can enter the Content by doing the following during the Entry Period: 

1) Completing the Entry Form that can be found here, and 

2) Agreeing, adhering to and meeting the requirements of the Official Rules listed below.

Contest Requirements: Contestants will record themselves starting the game and completing the assigned objective in as short a time as possible without any edits or cuts to the video. It is recommended but not required that Contestants use either a stopwatch or in-game timer and record it alongside their gameplay. Contestants can select any difficulty and finish with any completion percentage (i.e. you don’t have to 100% the game). Time starts after you’ve selected your difficulty level and ends when you defeat the final boss. Contestants can use any controller and play on any platform. Time will be verified by contestants video length to the specifications above. In the event of a tie Contestants may be asked to do a private live head-to-head run which will then determine the winner. Limited Run reserves the right to ask for a private live-run to verify the time within margin if it feels that the original submission video was ingenuine. Contestants can only enter once but are allowed to update their entry to their fastest time while the competition is open. 

How Winners Will Be Chosen: Subject to compliance with the Official Rules and general requirements of honesty and fairness, the winner of the Contest will be the top three individuals with the fastest time.

Prizes: The winner will receive a cash prize of $500 in a form to be agreed upon by the parties, as well as a signed Collector’s Edition of the Game, and a retro-styled controller. (“Prize”). Winner[s] will be selected on or about July 11th the (“Winner Announcement Date”). Delivery of the Collector’s Edition of the Game will be subject to the winner providing Limited Run with a valid address. Second Place Runner-up will win a signed Collector’s Edition. Third place will receive a signed Standard Edition. 

Organizer: zaituporteroselectricos, Inc. is the sole organizer of this Contest. The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Games Done Quick, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, PlayStation, Nintendo, or any other entities associated with the prize. Please read these Official Rules before entering a Limited Run Social Contest 

Any terms not defined in these Official Rules have the definition given to them in the applicable Entry Announcement.

By participating in any Limited Run Social Contest (“Contest”), you (“You” or “Entrant”) agree to follow and be bound by these Official Rules. In the event of any inconsistency with all other Contest-related materials, these Official Rules will govern.

zaituporteroselectricos, Inc. (“Limited Run” or “Organizer”) is the sole organizer of this Contest. The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated withGames Done Quick, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, PlayStation, Nintendo, or any other entities associated with the prizes or promotions.

1. DESCRIPTION: Limited Run is conducting a contest where users will compete against one another to achieve an in-game objective in the shortest possible time (the “Contest”). The speedruns will take place in Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore (the “Game”). For each Contest, Limited Run will provide the details and requirements for entry by posting an announcement on Organizer’s website: Link (“Entry Announcement”) from time to time, at Limited Run’s discretion. Entrants must follow the directions and meet the criteria in the Entry Announcement, the relevant Entry Form and these Official Rules to be eligible for any prize awarded in connection with a Contest. Organizer’s method of timekeeping is the official time clock for a Contest and is final and undisputable.
2. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.  

VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED.

1. ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible to enter, Entrants must: (a) be a resident of North America; (b) be at least the older of (i) 18 years of age or (ii) the age of majority in their jurisdiction as of the first day of the Entry Period; (c) be the owner of a valid email address; and (d) agree to all of these terms. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Officers, directors, employees or contractors of Organizer, their affiliates, subsidiaries, and agencies (collectively with Organizer, the “Contest Parties”), and members of their immediate family or persons living in the same household are not eligible to enter the Contest. In the case of a dispute, entries will be deemed made by the authorized holder of the applicable e-mail address used for entry. Automated entries are prohibited, and use of any automated devices will result in disqualification.
2. HOW TO ENTER:  Eligible Entrants may enter by:
1. Following the link to the Contest Entry Form provided in the Entry Announcement and completing it,
2. Agreeing, adhering to and meeting the requirements of these Official Rules, and
3. Performing your speedrun according to the Contest Requirements.

By entering this Contest, Entrant accepts and agrees to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Organizer, which will be final in all matters.  

1. RESTRICTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS. LIMIT ONE ENTRY PER PERSON (NOTE: PERSONS WITH MULTIPLE EMAIL ACCOUNTS MAY ONLY ENTER ONCE). VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED. Only one entry permitted per person. Use of any robotic, automatic, programmed, or similar entry method or entering more than the number of times permitted will void all entries and result in disqualification. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. For purposes of these Official Rules, the “account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. You must provide accurate, honest and true information in your Entry, Submission and in all communications with Organizer related to the Contest. Potential Winners and/or Winners (as those terms are defined below) may be required to show proof of being the account holder. Any Entries connected to an invalid, non-working, or inactive email address, or linked to an account holder other than Entrant, are void and ineligible to win. Organizer is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, misdirected, technically corrupted or garbled entries, or for other submission problems of any kind, whether caused mechanical, human or electronic, all of which are void and ineligible to win. Additionally, Organizer is not responsible for any telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties.
2. RECORDINGS: By entering the Contest you hereby irrevocably assign to Limited Run all right, title and interest in and to your any recordings that are made of your gameplay while you are performing the speedrun (the “Submission”), including the trademark, patent, copyright or other intellectual property rights in the Submission, to any registrations thereon and to any renewal or termination rights in the Submission, without any additional remuneration.  You hereby irrevocably waive (and agree to cause to be waived) any claims and assertions of attribution, moral rights, publicity rights, or privacy rights with respect to your Submission to the greatest extent permissible under applicable law. You agree that Limited Run shall have the right to use and fully exploit the Submission in any manner it deems appropriate. Limited Run will treat any Submission you provide as non-confidential and non-proprietary. You agree that you will not submit to Limited Run any Submission, content, materials, information or ideas of any kind that you consider to be confidential or proprietary. 

Your represent and warrant that: (i) you have the full unrestricted right, power and authority to agree to these Official Rules, to upload the Submission and to grant the rights in the Submission that you are granting hereunder; (ii) all information and materials that you provide through the Entry Form, in your Entry, in the Submission, or otherwise in connection with the Contest is true, accurate and complete; and (iii) you consent to Limited Run’s use of your personal information as provided in Limited Run’s Privacy Policy.

1. NOTIFICATION OF POTENTIAL WINNERS. Potential Winners will be notified by the email address that they provided for Entry.  Potential Winners must respond to the notification email within 48 hours/3 calendar days of it being sent or some other time frame indicated in the notification email. They must also provide Organizer with the Winner Documentation (defined below) and any other information requested by Organizer in the notification email Organizer requires in order to confirm Potential Winner as the Winner as described below. Failure to respond within the applicable time period or to provide Winner Documentation or any other information that may be requested by Organizer as described herein, will result in forfeiture of the Prize and Organizer will have the option to award the Prize to an alternate winner. The return of any notification may result in disqualification and the next runner up may be appointed the new Potential Winner in Organizer’s sole discretion. 
2. WINNER CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE. After a Potential Winner is selected, such Potential Winner will only be confirmed as the winner eligible to receive the Prize after Organizer has completed verification of Potential Winner’s eligibility to win and confirmed, to the best of its ability, Potential Winner’s compliance with all the terms of these Official Rules. A confirmed Potential Winner is referred to herein as a “Winner”. Potential Winners are subject to confirmation and verification by Organizer, by whatever means Organizer shall deem appropriate. To be verified and confirmed, a Potential Winner must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules and fulfill all requirements. As part of the Winner confirmation and verification process, Organizer may in its sole discretion require Potential Winner to complete certain documentation which may include an Affidavit of Eligibility (the “Winner Documentation”). If Organizer requires Potential Winner to complete Winner Documentation, Potential Winner must fully and accurately complete Winner Documentation and timely return all such documentation by the date specified by Organizer, or the Potential Winner may be disqualified and will forfeit any claim to any of the Prize. 
3. LIABILITY RELEASE: ENTRANT, ON BEHALF OF THEMSELVES AND THEIR ASSIGNS, HEIRS, DEVISEES, AND ESTATE (COLLECTIVELY, “SUCCESSORS”), HEREBY UNCONDITIONALLY RELEASES, DISCHARGES, AGREES TO HOLD HARMLESS, AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE: (i) LIMITED RUN, (ii) THE SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM(S), IF ANY, THAT ORGANIZER USES TO PROMOTE OR ADMINISTER THE CONTEST OR ELEMENTS THEREOF,  OR (iii) ANY OF THEIR AFFILIATES, ALONG WITH EACH OF THEIR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, AGENTS, AND CONTRACTORS (COLLECTIVELY, “RELEASED PARTIES”), FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS, COSTS, DAMAGES, LOSSES, EXPENSES, AND LIABILITIES (UNDER A THEORY OF CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE (WHETHER ACTIVE, PASSIVE, OR IMPUTED), STRICT LIABILITY, PRODUCT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY) RELATING TO ANY CLAIM ENTRANT MAY NOW OR HEREAFTER HAVE WITH RESPECT TO ANY DEATH, PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, CAUSES OF ACTION, LIABILITY, JUDGEMENT, PECUNIARY LOSS OR OTHER LOSS, DAMAGE, COST, OR EXPENSE (COLLECTIVELY, “HARM”) THAT MAY BE SUFFERED BY ENTRANT OR ANY THIRD PARTY IN CONNECTION WITH PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST, THE PRIZE, AND ANY USE BY LIMITED RUN OF ENTRANT’S NAME, EMAIL ADDRESS, PHYSICAL ADDRESS OR OTHER DATA PROVIDED TO LIMITED RUN BY ENTRANT, EVEN IF SUCH HARM IS CAUSED SOLELY BY THE RECKLESSNESS, NEGLIGENCE OR FAULT OF ONE OR MORE RELEASED PARTIES (COLLECTIVELY, THE “RELEASED CLAIMS”). EACH PARTY HEREBY IRREVOCABLY WAIVES ANY AND ALL RIGHT TO TRIAL BY JURY IN ANY LEGAL PROCEEDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS RELEASE OR ANY OF THE RELEASED CLAIMS. If Entrant is a California resident or could otherwise claim the protections of California law, Entrant further expressly waives the provisions of Section 1542 of the California Civil Code, which reads as follows: “A general release does not extend to the claims which the creditor does not know or suspect to exist in his favor at the time of executing the release which, if known by him, must have materially affected is settlement with the debtor.”  ENTRANT SPECIFICALLY UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES THAT THIS RELEASE WILL PREVENT ENTRANT AND THEIR SUCCESSORS FROM BRINGING A LAWSUIT OR OTHER ACTION AGAINST ANY RELEASED PARTY AND FROM RECOVERING MONEY DAMAGES OR OTHER LEGAL RELIEF FROM ANY RELEASED PARTY IN CONNECTION WITH ANY OF THE CLAIMS RELEASED ABOVE. 

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Contest Parties will not be responsible for: late, incomplete, or incorrect entries; an entrant's failure to receive Contest notifications due to entrant's spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for entrants' provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information; technical, hardware, or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled, or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or used in this contest; damaged or defective Submissions or entries; any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this contest; fraud or dishonestly on the party of any Entrant; error, delay or other issues with respect to posting on social accounts; theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries; or any typographical, technological, or other error in the publishing of the Entry Announcement, administration of the Contest, or the announcement of Finalists or Winners (collectively “Error” or “Errors”). If, in the Organizer's opinion, Organizer detects an Error, or there is any suspected evidence of tampering with any portion of the contest, or if technical difficulties (including viruses and bugs) compromise the integrity of the Contest, Organizer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or modify this Contest in a manner deemed appropriate by the Organizer. 

1. INDEMNIFICATION: Entrant will indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Released Parties from an against all Harms arising out of or resulting from: (i) the information Entrant provides in the Entry Form; (ii) Entrant’s breach of any of its covenants, obligations, representations or warranties in these Official Rules; or (iii) Entrant’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.
2. PRIZES: The Prizes associated with this Contest are those listed on the Entry Announcement. No substitution or transfer of Prize permitted by Winner. Organizer reserves the right to substitute a Prize of equal or greater value (in Organizer’s reasonable estimation and sole discretion). All Prizes will be awarded. If a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Organizer will award the applicable prize to the next best time. All income taxes resulting from acceptance of a prize, if applicable, are the responsibility of winner. Acceptance of a prize also constitutes permission to the Organizer to use winner's name, likeness, and biographical information for marketing purposes associated with this Contest without further compensation or right of approval, unless prohibited by law. All federal and state laws apply.
3. CHOICE OF LAW AND FORUM: Entrant agrees that all matters arising out of or relating to this contest and these Official Rules are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of North Carolina, without giving effect to any of its conflict of laws provisions thereof. Entrant further agrees that any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to this contest and these Official Rules will be brought exclusively in the applicable federal or state courts located in Wake County, North Carolina.
4. PRIVACY:  Information submitted in connection with entry to this Contest is subject to the privacy policy stated on https://zaituporteroselectricos.com//pages/privacy-policy (“Privacy Policy”).
